The ski area

There’s a great ski school for me here, I really want to learn to ski so that I can whiz down the slopes! Mrs. Bliem told me that there’s a “four-mountain ski link” and an eight-man cable car whatever that is, but it sounds really great!

Our ski area with its “four-mountain ski link” has been voted Europe’s Ski Area of the Year in several countries.

Starting at the ski resort of Haus im Ennstal you can enjoy skiing on the four mountain regions of Haus/Ennstal, Schladming/Planai, Pichl/Reiteralm and the Dachstein Glacier.

Extremely snow-sure from November to the end of April. Because of the most modern snowmaking machines, snow is guaranteed on100% of the pistes, where else can you find that?

The Hauser Kaibling belongs to the biggest joint ski-pass system in Austria. On one ski pass, 865km of pistes with 276 snow cannons await you! Directly from our village a modern 8-man cable car will transport you to our local mountain the “Hauser Kaibling”.

Ski Buses

Our hotel lies on the outskirts of Haus im Ennstal, approx 1000m away from the alpine centre where you will find the ski schools and the lifts.

The free ski bus stops just outside the hotel and an quick and easy bus ride will bring you to the lifts in just a couple of minutes. At the end of the day you can almost ski back to the front door.

Hotel ski pass service

Every Saturday from 5pm you can buy your ski-pass at the hotel (ski pass-key card system). For a ski-pass valid for eight days or longer you will need a photo.

Our ski school “Hauser Kaibling” with its “Mini Kids Club” for children of 3 years and upwards has 40 highly qualified ski instructors.  From the first swing to the perfect carving-style, the ski school Hauser Kaibling will teach them everything they need to know.
Lessons can be booked directly at the hotel on Saturday evening from 5pm onwards
